PUTIN: Did we invade or were we invaded? Look at history. When NATO promised not to expand one inch eastward and now they are on our borders, is that not an invasion? When the CIA engineers a coup in Kiev and overthrows a democratically elected government isn't that a type of invasion? When they militarily attack the Russian minority and seize their land is that not a type of invasion? We are simply fighting for security. Russia only wants what has always been Russian.

PUTIN: I don't need to name the names but essentially yes - those are the people at the heart of your current foreign policymaking apparatus. They are controlling the narrative.

TUCKER: Your last meeting with Obama was frosty. Can you explain what happened?

PUTIN: We discovered he had a Jekyll and Hyde type personality. He could be very cold and remote. He turned on us after Syria. Everything changed.
