The 54-year-old woman, named Jahrah, was reported missing on Sunday and was on the way to work at a rubber plantation, according to the Indonesian news site Detik.

Jahrah's husband found her sandals, a knife and a headscarf belonging to his wife and when she failed to return home, he reported her missing to the police, Detik reported Jambi Police Chief AKP S Harefa saying.

After a search by locals, Jahrah's body was found inside the stomach of a python, the police chief added.
